FUN and EXCITING way to the MEKONG DELTA
“We took the Authentic Real Mekong Delta to Ben Tre tour from Saigon River Tour in April and it was everything we hoped it would be. I really wanted to see and experience the Mekong Delta during our visit to Vietnam. We could have taken one of the many land-based excursions but then we would have been trapped in a van for several hours each way. Instead, we choose the Saigon River Tour and we are so glad we did. We met the boat at the pier in District 1, which was very close to our hotel. Our guide, Rambo, welcomed us on board and we were off down the Saigon River. Rambo told us much about what we were passing as we made our way downriver. He was very knowledgeable about Saigon, the history and what we were looking at. We were absolutely blown away by the amount of boat traffic on the Saigon River and then on the Mekong when we got there. And it made it so much better to be on the river ourselves and be part of the water highway. The excursion on Unicorn Island gave us a nice introduction into life on the Mekong Delta. The tour included a lunch that was unbelievable! So many good foods and so many choices! Then we settled in for the two hour return on the river. And the entire time we just took in the wild adventure that is life on the rivers of Vietnam.”
